12月3日，我国海上首个多层稠油热采开发项目——锦州23-2油田开发项目顺利投产，标志着我国海上稠油进入规模化热采开发新阶段，对保障国家能源安全具有重要意义。
锦州23-2油田位于渤海辽东湾北部海域，平均水深约13米，主要生产设施为新建两座中心处理平台，计划投产开发井67口，预计高峰日产原油约2600吨，油品性质为重质原油。
此次投产的热采中心平台，投影面积近4500平方米，约为半个足球场的大小，是迄今为止我国建造的最大的海上稠油热采平台。
据介绍，锦州23-2油田是多层砂体稠油油藏，地下多层稠油储层薄厚交织，如“千层饼”一样，使用常规技术难以开发。采用热采定向开发模式，用单井连通多层，像糖葫芦一样将储层串起来，通过“蒸汽吞吐+化学辅助蒸汽驱”降低原油粘度的方式开采，大幅提高油田采收率。
渤海油田目前的非常规稠油探明地质储量超6亿吨，是渤海实现增储上产的重要组成部分。锦州23-2油田作为我国海上首个多层稠油热采油田开发项目，它的成功投产，将有效推动我国海洋石油工业稠油开发技术进步，提高稠油储量动用能力，对渤海油田2025年上产4000万吨具有重要意义。
