近日，我国最大油气田——中国石油长庆油田累计生产油气当量历史性突破10亿吨。这是长庆油田继2020年建成6000万吨级特大油气田之后取得的又一里程碑式成就，为保障国家油气能源安全、推动区域经济协调发展注入强劲动能。
能源安全的核心是油气安全。10亿吨油气，全部转化为原油当量，可以装满80个西湖。
今年以来，长庆油田已完成435口页岩油井的钻井任务，新投产天然气井达797口。
位于鄂尔多斯盆地的长庆油田，95%以上的储层属于世界级低渗透油气藏，致密程度堪比“磨刀石”，勘探开发之难世界罕见。所谓低渗就是油气在地下渗流能力非常差。长庆油田依靠科技创新攻克了一系列低渗透油气田世界级勘探开发难题，把“没有经济开采价值的边际油田”，建成我国目前年产量最高的大油气田。
目前，长庆油田连续11年实现5000万吨以上高产稳产，持续刷新我国油气田产量纪录。目前，长庆油田年油气产量约占国内产量的1/6。
